The county has done this properly at the regional accesses. Each one has an ADA-compatible boardwalk, most have accessible restrooms, and there's a seasonal beach wheelchair program that runs roughly March through September. That's not nothing; a lot of coastal towns have one accessible access and call it done.
The thing to understand is the difference between "ADA compatible" and "easy." ADA compatible means there's a boardwalk and a ramp, not that the walk is short or the parking is close. At some accesses the accessible parking is a fair distance from the sand, and the boardwalk is long. Grayton's regional is ADA compatible and has zero parking, so it works only if the tram is running. If you want the shortest path from car to sand with a wheelchair, the regional accesses with real lots are the ones to pick: Inlet Central, Santa Clara, Ed Walline, Miramar Central.
