- Beach access: Grayton Beach State Park has a main parking area (fee) plus the Van Ness Butler Jr. Regional Beach Access; a county walkway and the state park entrance both lead to the Gulf.

- Flags & safety: Grayton has a lifeguard + flag pole during season; always check today's flags before swimming.
- Parking: paid lots at the state park and the county access; it fills early on summer weekends.
