• Email address only if you choose to sign up. It's used for the newsletter and nothing else. Unsubscribe any time.
• Server logs keep routine technical data (IP address, user agent, page requested) for security and troubleshooting. Retained briefly.
• Cookies: we aim for none that track you across the web. If we add analytics or advertising later, they'll be disclosed here.
• The data we display comes from public third-party services (NWS, NOAA CO-OPS, NDBO, Open-Meteo). It's theirs to be wrong about.

This is not official safety guidance. Flags, surf height, water temperature, forecasts, tide and rip-current risk are general information compiled from third parties and may be delayed or wrong. Conditions change fast.
