Santa Clara is a name people see on a map and can't place, and the reason is that it was never a town. It's the beach access at the east end of Seagrove, and the name has been attached to it for so long that it functions as an area. The access itself is the important thing: 60 spaces, split between the main lot on 30A and an overflow lot on the north side of the road. That's more parking than Grayton and Grayton State Park put together, and it's why locals heading to the middle of 30A go here instead of fighting Seagrove's 23.
The beach is wide and the walkover is a reasonable one. The neighborhood behind it is mostly single-family houses, quiet, with the usual live oaks. Santa Clara doesn't have a town center or a bar scene; it's a parking lot, a boardwalk, and sand, which is what most people actually want on a Saturday.
