The short answer
Seagrove Beach is a small 30A community in Walton County, Florida, between Grayton Beach to the west and Seaside to the east. It is served by two regional beach accesses: Seagrove Beach Regional Beach Access at 3910 E Co Hwy 30A (23 spaces, restrooms, ADA compatible, free) and Santa Clara Regional Beach Access at 3468 E Co Hwy 30A (30 spaces plus 30 additional spaces on the north side of 30A, restrooms, ADA compatible, free). Seagrove is one of the older built-out stretches on 30A: mostly single-family beach houses, no town center, and a beach that is wider and less crowded than Seaside one mile east. Eastern Lake sits on the east end of the community.

🏖️ What Seagrove Beach is actually like
Seagrove is the last stretch of 30A that still feels like an old beach neighborhood. No town square, no curated aesthetic, no gates. It's beach houses under live oaks, built over decades, with names on mailboxes that go back to the seventies. Seaside is a mile east and gets all the attention; Seagrove gets the people who want the same beach without the crowd.
The two regional accesses are why it works. Santa Clara's 60 combined spaces is the biggest lot between Grayton and Inlet, which makes Seagrove the easiest place on 30A to actually get to the sand on a summer morning. Eastern Lake on the east end is the other draw: a coastal dune lake you can paddle, with a boardwalk and the occasional outfall opening to the Gulf. The water on that side is brackish depending on the tide, and kids love it because it's calm.

Is Seagrove Beach the same as Seaside?

Seaside is a mile east for the most options. Local spots around Seagrove and Grayton are spread along 30A, mostly a short drive. There's no walkable cluster inside Seagrove itself.
